Site Setting

All the major common settings required across the web site are provided here for easy configuration.

It performs following functions:

  • Configure General Settings

  • Add and Edit Cultural Languages and Resources

  • Configure Google Analytics

  • Media Manager

  • Take Database Back-Up

  • Extension Manager

  • Themes

  • Template Manager


General Setting

This setting contains all the important information about the Site and the rights to change it are allocated to ‘Administrator’ only.
It performs following functions:

  • Basic Info

  • Company Info

  • Image Setting

  • Server Info

  • Server Permission

Basic Info
This contains the Name of the Site which is displayed in the footer of the site after COPYRIGHT@2012 “Your Site Name” (See Figure 1). The year is taken from the server system date.

Company Info
This contains the Name of the company which made this site. (See Figure 2)

Image Setting 
This contains the setting of images in the Site, which are displayed in the site. E.g. Thumbnails, Banners, Images, & Photos, and etc. (See Figure 3)

Server Info
This contains the information of the Server. (See Figure 4)

Server Permission
This contains the setting of server permissions to modules in the Site. (See Figure 5)

Language Setting:

This contains the list of languages facilitated in the Site. Using this setting multiple languages can be added to the website, means you need not to create multiple websites for linguistically different users. To add a language, click on button. To add resource for a particular language, click on button. To edit an existing language, click on icon.

This contains the list of languages facilitated in the Site. (See Figure 6)

We can perform the following functions from the ‘Analytics’ module – To view how many time the visitors visit specific pages weekly, monthly, and yearly. To view how many visitors visit specific pages weekly, monthly, and yearly in percents (%). Above mentioned navigation displays the ‘Analytics’ page (See Figure 9)

Media Manager:

This is a very useful tool to view and manage the different files uploaded by different users. You can also update the files from here. To upload a file (Image, Flash, Media, etc.): Choose a file by clicking on ‘Browse’. Select the file & click on ‘Upload’. The file will be uploaded in the media gallery (See Figure 10). To check the file’s properties, click on the file. Click on delete_icon to delete a file. We can create folders by clicking new_folder_icon, copy by clicking copy_icon, move by clicking move_icon, refresh by clicking refresh_icon, rename by clicking rename_icon, go up by clicking up_folder_icon, change view by clicking view_icon  icon for the efficient management of the media gallery.

Database Back-Up:

These details are used for sending mails to the email entered in the contact us page and the email defined in this form (See Figure 11).
